The "Public Cloud Computing Project" was approved by the ICT Board in order to provide the organization with a more scalable, agile and cost effective ICT environment.
IST successfully migrated the e-mail systems along with SharePoint (intranet) to the Microsoft Office 365 cloud platform in 2014.
A centralized Identity Management System was also rolled out, which enabled users to enroll for self-service password management. Additional services are planned for this year through which users will be able to perform additional tasks on their own without relying on the Help Desk.
